Kristin Colangelo
I have a strong background in science - specifically zoology, human biology and chiropractic.
I owned and operated a family chiropractic practice for eight years and in that time, I discovered that in addition to working with patients, a great passion of mine is writing and editing articles.
I sold my practice in order to concentrate on full-time study and education. I have taken classes in fiction writing, magazine writing and fact-checking for writing articles.
I recently completed UC-San Diego's Copyediting Certificate and also their Technical Communication Certificate. For my chiropractic license, I am working toward a sports medicine specialty.
I am building my portfolio by writing for Suite101 as well as creating and editing documents for organizations across the United States and Canada.
My career goal is to merge my love of chiropractic and natural healthcare (specifically nutrition and sports medicine) with my passion for writing and education.
